1 ). PINEAPPLE DRINK

INGREDIENTS; 

i). 2 medium-sized pineapples
ii). 1½ liter of water
iii). Sugar to taste

PREPARATION STEPS; 

i). Wash pineapple severally before peeling. 

ii). Grind peeled pineapple into a bowl. 

iii). Dilute with water and leave for 30 minutes.

iv). Press hard to remove juice water. 

v). Filter and add sugar to taste. 

vi). Keep in fridge to cool and serve. 

Hint: If possible, dilute with water. 


2 ). ORANGE DRINK 

INGREDIENTS; 

i). Oranges
ii). Sugar
iii). Water

PREPARATION STEPS; 

i). Wash and peel the oranges and cut them into halves. 

ii). Squeeze out as much juice as possible into a clean pot. 

iii). Add about 2 to 3 tumblers of water depending on the number of oranges used. 

iv). Add sugar to taste. 

v). Boil for 15 to 20 minutes, remove foam as it boils. 

vi). Leave to cool, bottle up and keep in the fridge.


3 ). KUNU DRINK

INGREDIENTS; 

i). 500g millet 
ii). 3 tablespoons of kayon yoji ( 20z )
iii). Tamarin ( tsaiya )
iv). 2 liters of water. 

PREPARATION STEPS; 

i). Take off the chaff from the millet. 

ii). Wash and dry the millet. 

iii). Add the kayon yaji to the millet and grind into powder. 

iv). Soak the tamarin ( tsamiya ) in cold water. 

v). Boil some water. 

vi). Mix the ground millet with cold water. 

vii). Add the boiled water to the mixture and stir. 

viii). Add the tamarin ( tsamiya ) water to the mixture. 

ix). Serve hot or cold as a drink. 


4 ). ZOBO DRINK

INGREDIENTS;

i). Zobo leaves
ii). Strawberry flavor
iii). Ginger flavor 
iv). Water
v). Sugar to taste.

PREPARATION STEPS; 

i). Wash the zobo leaves thoroughly.

ii). Cook the zobo leaves for about 30 minutes on medium heat.

iii). Allow to cool for about 20 minutes and sieve out the chaff from the juice water. 

iv). Add sugar, the strawberry flavor, and ginger flavor. 

v). Fill bottles with the zobo drink, then put in the refrigerator immediately ( to prevent fermentation ) and allow to cool. 

vi). Serve cold as a drink. 

Nutritional Fact:

Zobo drink contains vitamin A. It is also recommended for hypertensive patients.  Recent studies have proved that the drink is an effective treatment for diarrhea and pneumonia.

 

5 ). PAWPAW DRINK

INGREDIENTS; 

i). 3 small ripe pawpaws 
ii). 1500 ml hot water
iii). 2 teaspoons of lemon juice
iv). Sugar. 

PREPARATION STEPS; 

i). Wash pawpaw, peel and cut into pieces and remove the seeds.

ii). Blend the pawpaw and pass the blended juice through a sieve. 

iii). Pour hot water over the pulp. 

iv). Add lemon juice and sweeten to taste. 

v). Leave cool before serving.


6 ). LEMON JUICE

INGREDIENTS;

i). Lemon ( as many as possible )
ii). Sugar to taste 
iii). Water

PREPARATION STEPS; 

i). Wash and peel the lemons into quarters. 

ii). Blend the sliced quarters of the lemons to juice texture.

iii). Mix the blended lemon juice and little water together in a bowl. 

iv). Add sugar to it and stir.

v). Put the lemon juice in the refrigerator and serve it chilled.


7 ).  GUAVA JUICE 

INGREDIENTS; 

i). 150g Guava fruit 
ii). 6 tablespoons sugar syrup ( sugar and water solution )
iii). 400 ml of distilled water.

PREPARATION STEPS; 

i). Wash and peel the guava, take only the outer flesh excluding the seeds in the middle of the guava fruit. 

ii). Mix the guava,  sugar syrup, and water and blend in a food processor.

iii). Put in a refrigerator when done or pour the already made guava juice over crushed ice. 


8 ). CASHEW JUICE 

INGREDIENTS; 

i). 15 cashew fruit
ii). 5 cups of water 
iii). 1 lime ( juiced )
iv). 1 piece of ginger
v). Flavored syrup or sugar. 

PREPARATION STEPS; 

i). Add cashew fruit, ginger, and water in a blender and blend until smooth. 

ii). Strain into a bowl or jug and add the lime juice.

iii). Add in your sweetened flavored syrup or sugar. 

iv). Chill in the refrigerator and serve.


9 ). SOURSOP JUICE

INGREDIENTS; 

i). 2 Soft ripe soursops
ii). 1 teaspoon of sugar.
iii). 2 cups of milk or water. 

PREPARATION STEPS; 

i). Peel the soursop and discard the skin. 

ii). Cut the fruit in half lengthwise and remove the fibrous core. 

iii). Remove the seeds. 

iv). Cut the fruit into cubes. 

v). Place the cubed soursop into a blender.

vi). Add 2 cups of milk or water. 

vii). Blend until the soursop is thoroughly incorporated into the liquid.

viii). Serve hot or chill in a refrigerator.


10 ). APPLE JUICE 

INGREDIENTS; 

i). 6 large apples
ii). 250 ml of distilled water 
iii). 1 tablespoon of sugar. 

PREPARATION STEPS; 

i). Wash apples and take out the stems. 

ii). Cut the apples into smaller sections.

iii). Blend with your blender until a smooth juice-like texture is formed. 

iv). Pour in a jug or bowl and add in your water and sugar. 

v). Serve chilled.


11 ). MANGO JUICE

INGREDIENTS; 

i). 200 g of cut pieces of mango fruit 
ii). Sugar to taste. 

PREPARATION STEPS; 

i). Slice mango out from the seed. 

ii). Cut into pieces to fit your blender. 

iii). Blend in the mango with your blender till it's liquid.

iv). Add in your sugar to taste. 

v). Serve chilled. 


12 ). CARROT JUICE 

INGREDIENTS; 

i). 12 medium-sized carrots
ii). 1 piece of ginger 
iii). 500 ml of distilled water 
iv). 2 tablespoons of sugar. 

PREPARATION STEPS; 

i). Wash and cut carrots and ginger into pieces to suit your blender. 

ii). Put your carrots, ginger, and water into the blender and blend till it is liquid form. 

iii). Sift the carrot juice and add in your sugar. 

iv). Serve chilled.
